I like the review for Megan Estey's play "I'd Rather Eat Glass." The reviewer seemed to encourage Megan to write a sequel. The reviewer also commented on the different qualities the play contained. A good review gives the reader something to look for when they are reading the play without telling the entire story.

I'd Rather Eat Glass By Megan Estey
A play that will surely will be on a stage near you. It has everything you would want in a play; humor, love, deceit, adventure, action and so much more. I could not help but smile at the end. A must read...and has a great ending[room enough to make a sequel].

My Dad's Gun By Eric Rodriguez
I can always tell a piece is good when I actually read the whole thing. It has a very clever plot--engaging and unexpected. I would suggest, however, that you adhere a little more closely to fiction's Golden Rule: show, don't tell. In describing Max, for instance, you would have been more effective if we SAW that he was immature. Yes, I'm afraid this will make the piece longer! But other than that, you did a good job.

Fast Talkin' Man by Beverly Caine
Your poems are rythmatic, well written and clear. I especially enjoyed the message of this one. Yea for common sense and self worth.

The Coming Collision By Stu Engle
Wow...good work...I always wondered if you could write and now I see you can not only write but your philosophy is one step ahead as well. But I have to think that if you survive the crash enough to sweep up the pieces, then I would have to assume you underestimate yourself. Considering your talent, I bet you would build a house out of the shattered glass and teach others to do so also.

There Are Times by Miconna J. Boaldin
The poem sparked feelings concerning family and what one is doing right now, this very moment in time. Author very sincere but straight to the point for your mind to really make you think -- this could be true of me or someone near to me.

I Don't by Merissa Spradlin
I don't like reading poetry about break ups and boyfriends. I get enough of that at school, but the ones I have read here are either very well written or always have a point to them. This one has a point, but I believe we are missing something. It may be the whole story or it was written in the heat of the moment; whatever it was, it was missing something. And that's the reason why I gave this poem a 3.

The Lover Of Nature by Beverly Caine
Wonderful and delightful! What a realistic and refreshing poem. It reminds and inspires me that I am not in control, but I am only here to make a difference.

Inspiration By Bill Elder
Mr. Elder speaks to me as if he's been reading my mail, or my heart...so clever and so concise! How
I would love to have command of his vocabulary, not to mention his wit!

The Poet By Bill Elder
I'm a new fan of Bill Elder, and I can't avoid the
comparasion to my school girl passion for limericks several decades ago. How wonderful to
be enchanted, once again, by the clever likes of
this sharp-witted rogue of a poet!

Is Santa Really Santa Clause by Jessica Sayer
This poem gave me a new perspective on the Christmas picture itself.anybody or anything that takes focus and glory away from who it belongs to is selfish.
This is why Satan is not an angel anymore, because he wanted to be glorified. Now he has a mission. To kill ,destoy, and steal. To steal the real meaning of Christmas and use a disguise to disract our hearts from praising our worthy King.
Thankyou for shinning the real meaing of Christmas in your poetry. It touched my heart and
offered an alternate point of view to the worldly
figure,Santa Clause.

Is Santa Really Santa Clause by Jessica Sayer
I liked the way you expressed your opinion. I don't necessarily agree with everything, but your arguments were well thought out and the opinion organized very concisely- the two things I always look for in a good review.

The Opposite Of Hopeless By Janelle Zimmerman
Janelle, I liked this piece. You held my interest and my taste runs to short works. I get lost swimming around in bunches of text. Keep on writing. You seem to have a way to say what needs to be said, simply and directly.

mary Rose O'Donnell By Alice Bateman
Marvelously crafted. Some honest, deep, well crafted observations. I'm glad to see someone put this much detail on paper about a period in history that's starting to fade.

Where Have All The Children GoneBy Jack Mann
The poem brings up a very important subject and one that we should all be aware of, but I found the only thing really lacking about the prose was the absence of flow when reading it; sort of broken up. But I reitterate when saying that the poem is honest and candid about this issue.

If Only By Beth Adair
A pointed and ideal perception of the human enigma of reaching perfection. Much said in such a short poem. I like it!

Ode To A Married Man By Beverly Caine
You go girl! Lol! Edgey and honest. Sounds like this is a subject close to Beverly's heart... actually, sounds like a subject close to a lot of women's hearts. Excellently written.

The Better Bunny By Charilette Rai Sweeney
I thought that the story was okay, but it left you with one of those feelings like it wasn't really finished. But it was neat. Great job!

The style is pretty concise and it leaves the reader with some questions, which is what I happen to appreciate. I like to use my imagination.
