Texas Dirt Fuckers and Special Guests Dee Dee Ramone & Chris Spedding:
During the Texas Dirt Fuckers encore, a short whitehaired Dee Dee Ramone got on stage and played guitar and sang backing vocals through four songs - Born To Lose, Chinese Rocks, I Wanna Be Sedated and Gloria! Following those four songs, Dee Dee left and Chris Spedding (looking somewhat uncomfortable) joined the band on guitar for a further two songs. Both artists are apparently in town working on Dee Dee's new album. Dirt Fucker drummer Billy Rogers spent a short period as a Ramone once - he is credited on their Subterranean Jungle album. The rumour of a celebrity punk appearance encouraged a large crowd to hang around 'til the end of the evening and they were rewarded with Dee Dee and his usual "1-2-3-4!" introductions. This whole set was caught on video, I have seen it, and it ROCKS! If the computer gods grant me the hardware, you may see clips of it here soon : )
