"Dragons of Earth", also known as the "Seven Angels" are the seven who choose to destroy the present world. For what? Well... for a "change". "Angels" was earlier translated as "Minions" in the fan-translations presented in this homepage.Viz translated this term into "Habringers". Anyway, they fight against the "Dragons of Heaven".The following are the Seven Angels as of the latest development in X manga. Note that CLAMP mentioned that "switching sides" is possible in future plots. Count carefully and you'll notice eight names below. In the movie of X, Kakyou's position was replaced by Shogo. In another words, the Kakyou is only from the manga, whereas Shogo is only fron the anime.

Monou Fuuma
He has no idea as to what "End of the World" and "Kamui's Fate" are about, but he had promised Kamui in their childhood years that he would protect Kamui. Fuuma has played a very important role in Kamui's life. In fact, Fuuma and Kamui are related in the most extraordinary way. Fuuma rarely shows emotions on his face, nevertheless, he has always been a very caring brother to his sister, Kotori. Their mother died six years ago. It was a tragedy. Their father has also just passed away. Fuuma and Kotori lives at Togakushi Shrine. Fuuma's name in kanji can mean something like "sealing the truth" or "the sealed truth".

Shougo Asagi
Little is known about Shougo besides the fact that he is a "water master" -- a person with supernatural power over water. He is an original character solely created for X the movie. His position as one of the Dragons of Earth is replaced by Kakyou in the manga. CLAMP was responsible for his basis character design.

Yuuto Kigai
One of the persons with supernatural power gathered on Kanoe's side. Surprisingly enough, he works as a civil servant. His looks seem gentle and cheerful, but underneath that smile of his is his cold-bloodedness when he kills. In the manga, Yuuto is the first of the seven Angels to "officially" appear. His first fight wa s against Sorata Arisugawa in the manga. He uses a weapon that has two shape hands with a rope attached between them.

Kakyou Kuzuki
He is one of the seven Angels in the manga. He did not make appearance in the movie, and was replaced by Shougo Asagi. He is yet another dreamgazer in the story. His appearence in the manga of X7-9 is essential, because of his interactions with Kotori and Fuuma. Kakyou's eyes are gorgeous, IMHO ^_^. According to X7, there is one person whom Kakyou cares about but seems not to exist in any world anymore. His heart is sleeping in the real world, and does not wish to wake up until the promise day in 1999. According to X9, Kakyou is supposed to sleep alongside with the Kamui of the Dragon of Earth until the coming day. "ka" means teeth, "kyou" means dawn or to know, "ku" means nine, "zuki" means month or moon.

Nataku
He is one of the Dragons of Earth. Nataku is the one who killed Kyouga Monou and took away the Holy Sword in the manga. From a genetical point of view, Nataku is a human. However, he is "made by human" and was born under a computerized cultivation medium in the basement of Sunshine 60 Building. Although I refer to "him" as "he", Nataku's true self was "based" on Kazuki Toujyou(a girl), who died early. Her grandfather wishes to recreate her to live again, but only to find the reborn does not carry any emotion. He has a pattern like flower pedals on his forehead. Nataku's name comes from a god with the same name in Chinese mythology. That god did not have a soul, and only took the shape of a human. It matches with Nataku's being. Nataku is a human body with no heart and no emotion. His weapon is the white cloth which he wears. He seems to think that Fuuma looks like his father (Kazuki's father).

Seishirou Sakurazuka
The other onmyouji of the story, who may be even more powerful than Subaru. He is also known as Sakurazukamori, or the "assasin group - Sakurazukamori", although being called a "group", Sakurazukamori has always only been one person. Seishirou's illusionary power is associated to sakura petals. His shiki-gami takes the shape of a black eagle. Seishirou directly raises battle against some of the Dragons of Heaven and Kamui. He has also destroyed a kekkai around Nakano Plaza. Seishirou is a crossover character from Tokyo Babylon.

Kusanagi Shiyuu
A mysterious man with supernatural power who has met Yuzuriha before. Yuzuriha was walking on the street with Inuki when this man commented what a nice dog she had. She was surprised and delighted when hearing that, because that was the first person in her life that could see Inuki, besides her own people. He has a very manly character. In the manga, Kusanagi saved Kotori when she was attacked by some underground cables (controlled by Satsuki). He can make use of his "ki" in his body and produce damages with bare hands. In the manga, Kusanagi's part in the above was replaced by Kamui. Kusanagi works with the JSDN (defense force).

Satsuki Yatouji
Satsuki is a Dragon of Earth -- a cute girl usually wearing glasses. She is an expert on computers. Actually, she is loved by computers. She has made a spectacular machine named "Beast". She can actually merge into the computer and manipulate it. Recently, a local powers outage occurred in Tokyo and the computer data of banks were erased, and telephones were completely cut off. These were all Satsuki's good job. Kanoe asked her for data on the Imperial Household Agency, and the Ministry of Inquiry Chambers, therefore Satsuki went into the Beast and got all the information for Kanoe. As Yuuto commented that Satsuki was too radical that time, "it doesn't suit your cute face".

Kanoe
Kanoe is the younger sister of Hinoto, but she looks no way the near Hinoto. As a contrast to her sister, Kanoe is of the size of a matured woman, always sexy-looking. In real life, she works as a secretary for the governor of Tokyo. She is, in fact, the person who gathers the 7 Angels at the basement of the Government Building. Like Hinoto, she can enter people's dreams and tell the future. She has entered Fuuma Monou's dream and urged him to kill Kamui. In the onmyou-jyutsu belief of the Japanese religion, the word Kanoe is related to "gold".
