Runker Room Repatriated VICTORIA, British Columbia The Runker Room, home page of Tadaaki Hiruki, has retraced its steps back to the Garden City, Victoria BC, after four years in Portland OR. Longtime readers of this website will recall that Victoria was the temporary home of the author while making the transition from a full-time pathologist in Canada to a graduate student stateside in the emerging field of medical informatics. Now the B.C. capital again serves as a safe harbour from which to contemplate the next career move. The search for informatics-related or informatics-friendly employment necessarily takes precedence over recreation, so updates to this site will become less frequent. Until the situation stabilizes, please enjoy exploring that which has been posted to date. The overall mission of this contribution to the World Wide Web is unchanged and remains similar to that of other home pages: to entertain, educate, and provide a link between people of similar interests.
