BACKROUND: It has been five years since Lucky's "death." For the past couple years Liz and Jason have grown closer and are now engaged to be married. Luke and Laura are also back together. Emily and Nikolas found their way to each other and have been married for two years. They are expecting their first child in a few months, but don't play big roles in this story. Lucky has been set free due to the fact Fasion and Helena were both killed (for real) and he is on his way back to Port Charles to find his family and soul mate. Also in this story, Liz and Lucky did make love in New York before the fire. It is also wintertime.
