Adventure Gamer has a new article about cross-genre games. And Quandry has two new articles, one about cross-genre games and the other about adventure game marketing strategies.

There's a new adventure gaming magazine on the web: Adventure Gamer. Lots of news, several previews, and a helpdesk that includes a large collection of UHS files. The editors of Adventure Gamer are bucking a trend that I've noticed among newer gaming publications by including reviews of older games. One of the new reviews this week is for The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Rose Tattoo, which came out in 1996. How refreshing that the editors realize that adventure gamers are interested in most games with an engrossing plot and challenging puzzles - not necessarily those with the latest technological innovations (eye candy). Not surprisingly, there are excellent reviews of both GK1 and GK2. Lastly, there is a community section, where you'll find several excellent sites hosted by Adventure Gamer.
