Yep, I've finally added an important element to any Speed page, the profile section! Should be one of the first things to have, but I like to go against the flow of things and do things backwards. ^_^ Hahahaha Well, sit back, relax, and enjoy the profiles!
The dates given are when the movie first came out or premiered. Also, "main," "minor," and "guest" within the brackets indicate what role Speed had in the drama. Main meaning they were the stars, minor meaning that they played secondary roles or roles that support the main character(s), and guest meaning that they just had a guest appearance.

This is Imai Eriko, she is one of the two lead vocalists for Speed. I think she is very pretty and has become more mature looking within the past year. She has done one solo song, with a group of sorts, called 'Crunch'. She and Hiroko were supposed to have a solo album, called RIMIX, that was scheduled to come out around February, but it has been put on ice for now. There are some rumors that she is going to have another solo single (probably as a c/w song for a Speed single).

This is Shimabukuro Hiroko, she is the other lead vocalist for Speed. Despite being the youngest member, she is the tallest of the group! Like Eri-chan, she has done one solo song, but her group's name (if they have one) isn't listed. Meet Uehara Takako. She is one of the backup vocalists and a main dancer for Speed. Her role in the groups is mainly to provide the chorus / backup vocals for songs while providing the main dancing for the group; Eriko and Hiroko dance as well, but Takako and Hitoe are considered to be the main dancers while Hiro and Eri-chan are considered the main vocalists. She was supposed to have her solo song debut February 11, 1999, but it was cancelled for unknown reasons. In its place, we will now get a solo single from Takako; to be specific, it will be for "Uehara Takako [Speed]," yes, you didn't read that wrong, see the Discography and Speed News pages for more information!

Last, but certainly not least, is Arakaki Hitoe. Arguably the best dancer in Speed. You just need to see her dance once and you can tell she is really into it; not to say the others don't have a passion for dancing. ^_^; She and Taka-chan are the backup vocals and main dancers for Speed. She is also famous for having the changing hairstyle in Speed; more so than the other members. Much like Taka-chan, she was supposed to have a solo song come out on February 11, 1999, but it was cancelled due to unknown reasons. No new news regarding a solo single for Hitoe has been reported yet, but I will keep everyone informed via the Speed-chat ML, Speed Tengoku Guestbook, and Speed News page!
