I guess I'm the lucky girl in my family, given I'm the ONLY girl. I'm not bitter or anything though...being the "princess" sure does have it's advantages. No, I'm not the only child, I have three brothers. The oldest one of us, Jiemmy is 21 and also attending the University of Nevada, Reno. This year we're living together in our own apartment. I'm basically on my own financially you know? The next in line after me is my youngest brother Joshua Jay, JJ for short. (You saw that one coming, right?). He's taller than me and still growing! And to think he's only 14 years old and now a freshman in high school. I feel so short... Finally, the youngest brother is eight. I love my brothers! Hell, I always tease them about the littlest things...but hey, I'm the only sister they got!

We were all born in different places in Japan. That's because my dad used to be in the military. He retired my junior year of high school, after twenty-three (or was it twenty-four?) years in the United States Navy. Because of that, I've been stationed all over! Well, Japan, Hawaii, and the Philippines. I was born in Atsugi, Japan, and then we moved to Hawaii. I attended elementary school in Misawa, Japan; Subic Bay, Philippines;, and then in Yokosuka, Japan. I was lucky enough to be a survivor of the Mt. Pinatubo erruption in 1992! Junior high was the best in Yokosuka, Japan, but we moved right in time for me to be a freshman in Fallon, Nevada. Talk about a change in senarios!

My parents decided that Fallon was the place they would retire, so I was stuck there. *sigh sigh* But my parents had confidence I would do okay, despite I had trouble fitting in. I thought I would never have those problems, being a military brat taught me lots of diversity and how to make friends easily. But boy, things were different when you went to a small town where you had almost absolutely nothing in common with the residents! But I did get by. I graduated from Churchill County High School in Fallon, Nevada as valedictorian in June of 2000.
