Yes! Cosplaying = Schiezophrenia! Multiple personality disorder! Actually, cosplaying, is the term used for "COStume PLAYing". *lol* Fire Priestess Shayla Shayla in the house to your left! ^_^ One of my older cosplays, but still one of the crowd favorites! That's right, I love anime and manga, and cosplaying has become one of my favorite hobbies. Ohhh...what a very_expensive and time_consuming hobby. *grins* But I don't mind, it's sooo fun!
I started cosplaying this past summer at AX2000. *thinks* Actually, my cosplaying history started in 5th grade...or was it 6th? Anyhow, I went to school dressed as #17 from DBZ, and my friend went as #18. *heheh* Oh my gosh...I have cross dressed! *lol* Actually, maybe I should do that one again, granted I find a #18. *teheheh* Then I picked it up this summer, cosplaying at... *drum roll* my own high school graduation! Would you believe, I dressed up in Miaka's school uniform? That's right! But the kicker is...I was valedictorian! So there I was, dressed as Miaka...giving a speech! Unfortunately I couldn't style my hair like hers because of the graduation cap.
I then attended my first (and definately not last) convention that summer, Anime Expo. So far, I've attended three anime conventions, and cosplayed at each one: Anime Expo 2000, Fanime 2001, and Anime Expo 2001. There's more planned to come!
