As you walk through the doorway...

...you are astounded at the change. You've walked into a large room cut into the side of a mountain. You turn to look behind you. Outside is a beautiful view! The trees stand hundreds of yards tall, giving a calm feeling to the scene.

Turning back toward the cavern, you notice that a stone couch and a few chairs occupy the center of the room. Beyond the couch, on the far wall, you can see a fireplace with a cozy fire burning. Nearby, there sits a table, but you can't really see what is on it yet. On the other side of the fireplace is another door...

Before you have a chance to decide whether to investigate the table or the door, two firelizards, a blue and a green, appear before you, their faceted eyes whirling. A bit afraid to move, you call out, "Hello? Anyone here?"

A young woman walks out of the doorway, followed by a bronze firelizard. "Oh, hello! I didn't hear you come in. I'm Dreamsmythe. Welcome to Crystal Moon Hold." She glances at the room. "Though i must admit it really isn't your typical hold..."

"Hello. It's nice to meet you," you say, noticing what you had taken for a headcovering is actually her auburn hair, intricately braided and woven around her head. A calming aura radiates across the room as she walks toward you. As she nears, you try to make out the color of her eyes... green? blue? grey? or a combination of all three?

"I see you've already met Tali and Myhr, the green and blue, respectively. This lovely here," as she raises her arm for the bronze, "is Satyr. Their bark is much worse then their bite," she says with a smile. "Tali and Myhr love to surprise visitors."

"You are welcome to look around. Through there you will find the weyr I've created in hopes of becoming a candidate at Karath Weyr. I've several adoptees in the different rooms off of this one. They love visitors almost as much as Tali and Myhr. There's also a stable outside and to the left. Some really beautiful horses and maybe a couple of surprises. Watch your step, though, because this place is always under some sort of remodeling."

"I've got to finish getting these stones polished. I like to make jewelry in my spare time, but it's quickly becoming an occupation. I'll let you wander where you will. Patch, this lovely dog here, will escort you. The adoptees know him and so won't be frightened by seeing a stranger. If you want to return to this room, just pet him and he will bring you back."

"Oh, my son is working on his weyr if you would like to visit him. It's that way. Or you can try your luck at Karath Weyr. They're looking for candidates for the clutch of dragon eggs on the sands..."
