As you brush aside another curtain and step through the doorway, you can feel the warmth rising off a bed of sand. Looking carefully, you can make out a gold egg, almost the same color as the sands beneath it...

"Hello?" You hear Dreamsmythe calling from the other room. "I'm in here," you say, pulling aside the curtain so she knows which doorway you've entered.

"Ah, you've found my most recent arrival," Dreamsmythe exclaimes. "I've decided to name her Serena. She's a gold featherdragon! Most graciously given to me from the Featherdragon Empire's Ocean Sands. I just can't wait until she hatches!" The soft look that you've come to associate with motherhood comes into her eyes as she looks at the egg. You both turn and walk out the doorway. "Hopefully, Serena will be hatched when you next come to visit."

A few weeks later, you hear a crooning sound as you enter the room. You see Dreamsmythe crouching and feeding a young gold hatchling. "Oh, she hatched!" you say excitedly. Startled, Dreamsmythe falls over backwards and starts laughing. "Oh, I'm glad that you could come back! Yes, she hatched a few hours ago and has been keeping me busy ever since!

...hungry... You hear the voice in you mind and suddenly you are hungry too. "Okay, little one, okay...," Dreamsmythe says as she pulls another piece of meat off the tray and feeds the hatchling. Her attention is completely taken by the little one in front of her. Turning, you decide to go find something to eat and come back another day when she's not quite so busy...
