The knobby buzz: Ride directly behind someone, then inch forward until your front tire touchesthe other's back tire. It makes this really cool sound and as long as you don't overlap your wheels you'll be fine!
The Jack Knive (Endo): Roll along at walking speed, then slam no your front brakes only, move your body forward to get the back up. You will look very impressive standing on your front wheel, increase speedonce you get better. Oh yeah learn how to counter blance your lift off, or you will be doing the face plant, fun if you are watching, not if you are doing it though.
DH training: Now that downhill racing is getting more and more populer more people are training for it, and the bast way to learn to go fast is to disconnect your brakes, yup, disconnect those cables, drain outthose hydraulic, 'cause you won't need them for speed training! Go to the steepest DH you can find give your self some push and off you go! Don't worry not being able to stop, it's speed training remember! Speed is the important thing, slowing down is not!
: Your first ever dual-slalom race isn't the place to try your one foot-down turing technique, if you've never tried it before.
: Comming into a turn at 35 mph with two other racers is not the time to experiment with X-ups and sliding through corners.
: Crossing the finish line doing a wheeli with your fists in the air looks cool. Dumping your bike while doing a wheeli with your fists in the air looks dumb-especially if the rider behind you slips across the line while you are unconscious.
: Wearing the latest full body armor during a 40 Co cross country race in the desert, and thinking you are cool is dumb especially when you dehydrate on the first climb.
: Using up your water trying to clean your tires in the first 10 minute of a XC race is dumb.
: Trying to turn your preload on your fork while going 50 mph down hill is stupid, doing it during a fast turn on the Kamikazi is idiotic.
