FIRESTORM:CAMPAIGN

NARRATION (01/10/02):
Even while the party is watching the mirror, Rose has gone over and put on her clothes and doned her weapons she thinks just for a moment before she ansewrs Tegra. "I have no use for any of you, but know that has long as we have a common enemy we are on the same side, but once this is finished", she pause's and walks over to Fox "me and you will finish what was started so many years ago." She then pulles out her two long swords turns back to Tegra "Lets go have some fun" the smile that comes across her face is pure evil.

Once everyone has their gear on, Tegra reachs in her pouch and pulls out the acorn and crushes it in her hand. The blue sparkes start off small then get bigger the more the acorn is crushed until it encompesses the whole party. Then a flash, you are in the middle of the encampment. This is what you see.

There is a group of 10 elfs that have surounded the childern and are fighting off a wave of orc's they are out numbered 5 to one. The driders and 5 elves are in a very heated magical battle, for now the elves are keeping them back with a entanglement spell, it seems that the driders made a mistake coming between two buildings. There are a group of 10 drow that are making there way around the building but they will have a surpise when they do for there is a group of elf warroirs waiting for them on other side. Smaller battles happening all over the encampment.

"MOTHER, FATHER, HELP ME!! the scream comes from Erin. She is sitting on top of the wolf that has doubled in size and the two leapords are in a fight for their lives as 4 drow are tring to kill them. The two leapords that are with Tegra take off in a dead run to help their kind. The wolf and Erin are in a fight with 6 drow every time they try to attack the wolf is to fast and Erin hits them with a short sword that she picked up. 4 of the drow on Erin and the wolf make a charge just has two dive at Erin, she blocks the hit from one but not the other one and they both tumble to the ground. Erin is very fast and gets to her feet first but has ended up in the middle of the 4 drow that made the charge. The wolf lets out this great yowl, shimmering before everyone eyes it begins to change form once it is done Talon is standing there holding his great bastard sword and shield hearing his full plate mail. He points his swords at the drow around Erin and lets a lighting bolt loose knocking the drow away from her. But the drow are fast coming to there feet and rush the warrior of Tempest. "Come and lets us see who is the better", he yells. Rose screams out " NA TU FUR NUCK!" the elves all stop for just a second, let out this cheer and yells "Firestorm," their fight seems to take on a renewed zeal. One of the orcs spots Ryloth. He is larger than the others and is wearing chainmail. He yells something, but all that you can make out is "Destroyer" and a group of orcs comes rushing for him.

The three folks on top of the hill are still there looking down on the battle.

Alaister:
Noticing the group that is outnumbered by the orcs and the big orc, pulling back my war hammer, shouting "Raknar", and throwing the warhammer at him (roll 17) waiting to hear the thunderous clap. Afterwards charging towards and into the fray (to retrieve my hammer), with flail and shield in hand.

Ryloth:
Focusing my energy through the D'are Blade I cast Live Oak on to a nearby ancient tree following up with a plant growth. I give it orders to destory orcs and drow, and charge into the fray with the orcs.

Tegra
The shimmer of dark red hair flying behind the two leopards is unmistakable in the fray, headed straight for Erin. The wolf changing into Talon doesn't pause her stride in the least. She dodges any flying bodies from his lightening bolt, seeing how quickly the drow scramble back up, and takes up an eerily familiar position. It's not one she's taken before, but seen many times. Back to back with Talon, Erin between them, she begins to fight furiously at the drow DARING to attack her child. The two leopards already here attack a drow, the male missing, but the female scoring with her front claws and bite (12 miss, 18 hit=4 pts dmg). The two with Tegra launch attacks of their own, surprising the drow around the small group. Memnock leaps on the back of one, ripping the back of his neck apart, killing him instantly (hit 20, perc 101). Sari leaps on the one that the other female wounded, adding her own back and front claws as well as her bite to the damage (hit 17=8 pts dmg) done to that particular drow. Tegra slices with her scimitars, attacking another drow as he tries to come toward Erin. Three hits of her scimitars and she doesn't waste her fourth on him, as he convulses and falls dead to the ground (3 hits=52 pts dmg, syst shck failed). Her fourth downward thrust is at the drow already injured by the leopards, but making the mistake of moving in front of her (1 hit=11 pts dmg).

Zydrek:
(OOC) Sorry guys, I broke my hand over the weekend and have not been able to post. I am a little slower these days typing with one hand, but will keep up. OK, on with the party.

(IC)As Ryloth, Alaister and Tegra all were getting dressed and getting their belongings together, I jumped up also and was ready in record time. As we enter the battle, I look over and see Talon changing from his wolf form and welcome him under my breath.

I run toTalons and Tegra's side and having drawn my broadsword, help them hold off the attack on Erin. Thrane draws blood as my first attack (18+3)to hit and 18 pts. damage is done to the drow in front of me. My next attack hits the drow next to him, slashing through his torso (20 Crit to hit). I watch his body fold in half in front of me. (I remind myself to pick both halves up and throw them both on the fire when we are finished here.

If the drow here are getting thinned out, I move to the children and take care of business with the Orc's. My Morning Star, which I pulled out on the way over to the children, is alread flying through the air in search of the Orc's heads. I connect with one of them, but he was trying to duck and I just barely grazed the back of his head.

While fending off the blows of the Orc's, I look around to see what is going on around me and if the others need help...

Scarlet Fox:
Seeing Rose start to get her gear, I inturn I get my gear as well. After I do that I run outside and return in a few minutes. As I come in the door 4 falcons fly in, "I can't forget my friends."

As the flash of light and we are in the forest. Once there I motion for the falcons to take flight. I go with Ryloth to watch his back as he's casting. Taking on the first two Orcs I come to. ( right orc: 2+7=9 AC-2 9+7=16 AC -9 left orc: 8+7=15 AC -8 17+7=24 AC-17 all hit Dam to right orc total: 26 left orc total: 33) Then step back a half step and take up an attack posture. "Come and meet Vengence!"
