The only survivor from Vermal, the young boy Norb, is found floating in space by the LEXX crew. But he's not all he appears, and soon the ship is being attacked from the inside out.
Finally the events of Mantrid catch up with the LEXX crew, as the horde of arms that have taken apart planet after planet behind them attempt to take the ship to pieces in a similar fashion. An impressive episode visually (the graphics of the multitude of arms are astonishing) and storywise as the crew must find a way to retake the LEXX before it is disassembled, Norb sets off a new mission for the crew as they discover that some version of Mantrid still exists, and what his plan is for the universes. More disturbing is that in effect they created this new monster.
There's surprises, shocks (790 is put in mortal danger), excitement and humour here, which all come together very effectively to make this episode the best so far this season. It's especially scary that all this is only a game to Mantrid, who will sooner or later come to destroy the LEXX. Hopefully there'll be more episodes to follow up this story as we approach the end of the season.
