The LEXX crew visit a planet which houses the mindless bodies of the former hosts of His Shadow, as they seek a cure for a disease Stan has caught.
The planet Rooma has some of the worst people in the universe on it, with the trapped family the most unpleasant people you could meet. However, their main wish is to get off the planet, which seems reasonable under the circumstances. The fact that Kai is adversely affected by radiation from the planet is quite good fun for a time until it wears a little thin, but his curing of Xev works well after she has been bitten by a vampiric Divine Predecessor. For once the family the crew meet deserve to die, and it's strangely satisfying to see Lyekka (awake and in need of food again) work her way through them.
The other aspect that impresses is the design, with Rooma looking wonderfully ancient and gothic., along with the inhabitants. It's good to see the old cloaked Divine Shadow look again too. On the downside, too much time is spent fighting off vampires, and not much else going on, although there is a disturbing moment at the end when Stan turns the LEXX round to destroy the planet only to finally discover that Mantrid's drones have been one step behind the LEXX all the way.
