Learning from 790 that Xev's expiry date is in 72 hours, the crew travel to a planet that may be able to help her but instead find themselves asked to be assassins.
Taking its cue from The Wizard of Oz to the extent that it even features the Wozard, Woz is a strange offering set on the planet of the love slaves. This is a good opportunity to split up the characters, pairing Stan with Kai to attempt the assassination, whilst Xev is reverted to her pre-love slave state and forced to listen to the Wozard's propaganda complete with a superb animation to demonstrate the inner beauty of men and women, one of the funniest things this season.
This episode uses one of those great Sci-Fi ideas, that beauty is only skin deep, and simultaneously proves and disproves it, which is a good trick for any show! The way in which the love slaves capture Stan is enjoyable, and it's a shame that the poor guy doesn't get a chance to enjoy the girl's hyperactive libidos. In the meantime, Kai does some of his best work at infiltrating, reverting to his assassin ways until he learns better. Admittedly the ending is pretty obvious, but it's still worth the journey.
