The LEXX heads for the centre of the universe, but becomes caught in a sentient web that is determined to survive.
Now, if you find that plot synopsis familiar, there's a damn good reason. 90% of this episode is exactly the same as the last one. Okay, you might think, things are shot in a different way, it's a different story from another perspective, right? Well, not exactly. Maybe the LEXX crew thought they should tie up everything a little neater, or maybe they needed a really desperate money saver, but this really isn't the best approach. The only differences are more effects shots of the web, the inclusion of Stan acting oddly and a longer finish and shorter opening.
Admittedly it solves some of the problems of The Web such as its quick ending, but it's really dull watching most bits filmed in exactly the same way. It's even shot for shot. Either fast-forward to the end or ignore this one. Or, if you haven't watched The Web, this tells the full story, so watch this one. It still only gets one star though for the sheer cheek of it all.
