Definition: Definition: [Mul.Apin Tablets] The Mul.Apin [i.e. Mul and Apin] tablets contain the most comprehensive surviving Babylonian star and constellation catalogue from before 600 BC.

In the Babylonian pantheon Ea, was the God of the freshwater ocean below. No task was beyond his skill. He aided the Mother Goddess creation of mankind, to whom he helped bring the gifts of civilization. He saved mankind from Enlil. With Enlil divine ruler of the Earth and its human inhabitants, Anu, the father of the Gods and the Mother Goddess, he governed the universe.
