Why *You* Should Support Gay Civil Rights
Introduction -- The Day After (a.k.a. "Slapping around the bigots.")
So which side do you fall on? Do you want to continue trying to destroy the lives of your neighbors, or do you side with freedom. Whichever, I want to give you reasons why you should openly support gay civil right initiatives.
Reasons to Support Gay Rights:
- For Family
- For Humanitarian Reasons
- To Uphold the American Ideal
- Because Homosexuality is Natural
- It's The Christian Thing To Do
- For The Future
Okay, I've been somewhat one-sided here. My goal is not to ostracize you...indeed, an ideal society must include everyone, even those who are unable to accept the diversity of their world. But some problems can only be solved one individual at a time, and prejudice is one of these problems.
Now that I've had my say, I will not dwell on it further. And, even if I have not changed your opinion of gay people, I hope you realize that I will still think of you as a brother or a sister.
