Objectives
1. Define the terms multimedia, interactive multimedia, and hypermedia.
2. Describe how multimedia technologies are used to promote learning in schools.
3. Describe the three basic levels of interactivity associated with videodiscs.
4. Describe two advantages and two disadvantages of CD-ROM applications.
5. Describe two advantages and two disadvantages of Interactive Videodisc applications
6. Describe the differences between information stored in analog verses digital form.
7. Define the term "Authoring System" and give two examples of authoring systems
demonstrated in class.
8. Describe one example of how a teacher could integrate a hypermedia application in the
classroom.
9. Load and execute CD-ROM and videodisc educational applications.
10. Evaluate commercial CD-ROM and videodisc educational applications.
11. Develop an interactive, instructional Hypercard stack.
