You walk into this immense cavern, past the ornate archway, and a billow of heat hits you between the eyes, almost causing you to retreat back into the cool grasses of the stables outside. The heat comes in spiralling waves from the ground. Your feet are burning. You look down and see them sinking quickly into the top layer of soft sand. You walk to keep from sinking, moving slowly into the gigantic cavern.

High above you there are crystals. Not hanging and not ornamental, but lovely none the less. The heat radiating from the ground if from the crystals, you realized. The entire roof is one large crystal, making the cavern a green house! The sweltering heat radiates now from above and below.

You come to the crest of a dune, beginning to sweat with the efforts of walking in the soft sands. You stop. The cavern is humongous, with spiralling spikes of rock holding the cieling up, hanging and balancing stones everywhere. Spires and terraces of stone - the inside of a subterranean palace. The bottom of the dome is all archways, leading out to the sea on one side and the stable yards on another. In front of you stretches a desert. An indoor desert produced by the unstoppable heat, broken only by spiralling stone, tiny thriving - if barely - green plants.

You walk a little farther into the heat, cresting another, higher dune for a better view, and finding a neat, sandswept directorie there of the different areas and animals of the Drigus Desert....

And now you have a decision to make. See one of the many residents of the Desert, or head n to other part of the Hold.....

As you turn to leave, a small patch of objects cross your eyes, though they are half-buried in dark sand. It's a shallow hole in the snad with...two Beanie Babies?

You pick up the toys and read their tags...they are "Sandy," "Dune," "Driggy," and "Quicksand." They must have been splaced here as toys for the younger Drigetti, some sort of security blanket for insecure youths. You put the tiny replica Drigetti back on the sandpatch, laughing slightely, for they are very cute! But your laughing and the heat makes you lightheaded again and you quickly take your leave, promising that you will return to see the Drigetti and other animals again soon......
