Continuing Education PolicyThe Bartending Institute has been in continuous operation in St. Louis since 1978, placing our graduates in Restaurants, Hotels, Casinos, Night Clubs, Sports Bars, Neighborhood Bars, Concert venues and Catering services. All Bartending Institute graduates are welcome to re-enroll for class to brush up on their skills or practice techniques, as well as use our placement services, as long as they are in good financial standing and have followed all set guidelines and standards of attendance, graduation and placement. The Bartending Institute offers all students and graduates access to the classroom facilities over the 40 hour described course (1pm-5pm or 6pm-10pm, with additional classroom access from 10am-1pm. Job Placement AssistanceVocational training is not complete until every assistance is
rendered to help the student find employment. Small classes, individual
attention and skill related lessons all help to achieve their end at the
school.. Upon successful completion of the course, graduates are eligible
to participate in our Job Placement Assistance Program. Graduates are
provided a job search / interview packet designed to give insight and
understanding of how to dress for success, application process, interview and
follow-up techniques for bartending jobs. Additionally, each graduate is
provided with the current job openings list that includes: the name of the bar,
address, contact number, hiring contact, hours and shifts and what specifically
the bar is looking for in an employee. It must be
understood that we do not guarantee employment, salaries or specific positions
to our graduates, but all assistance will be given to students in regards to
placement. We are continually informed of job openings through our direct
contact with local restaurants, hotels, and nightclubs. Each week we
contact all of the bars on our openings list to update all information in
regards to the current positions available.
