The Dragons looked sharp in their victory over the Crusaders in the opening game of the 2006 season

Dragons Crush Crusaders in BFL Opener

May 17, 2005- Dispite many winning seasons and 4 BFL Bowl Apperances, the Dragons (1-0) have only won one season opener prior to last nights game over the Crusaders (0-1). Last night, the Dragons completely dominated the Crusaders who are riding a 6 game losing streak, the longest in their franchise, and tied for longest all time in league history.

Rich Z. scored 105 points and won the game by 38 points, 105-67.

Notes:
-The Dragons are now 2-6-2 in opening games and 1-3-1 in the Throwoff Game
-The Crusaders have now dropped their last 6 games dating back to 2004. There last win was on June 17, 2004 against the Produce.
-Kenny quarterbacked the game.
-The Crusaders went 1/5 on two point conversion attempts, setting a new record for most missed two point attempts.
