The Gamblers and Icebergs played a back and forth game.

Late Forced Fumble by the Gamblers, ends the Icebergs chance at victory

May 31, 2005- The rivalry is big. And the game between the Icbergs (0-1) and Gamblers (1-0) lived up to the hype. The Icebergs controlled the scoreboard through out the entire game going up by 7 over the Gamblers 9 times. But Mark C. couldn't find a way to stop the Gamblers from tying the score all 9 times.

These two teams exchanged scores throughout the evening until tied at 63-63, Mark K., forced a fumble on Mark C., that lead to an eventual touchdown and a 9 point lead. A failed onside throw for the Icebergs all but wrapped the game up. The Gamblers won it 72-69.

Notes:
-The Gamblers once again find a way to stop the Icebergs with late heroics and now own a 2-0 series lead.
-The Gamblers are now 4-2 in season openers.
-The Icebergs are now 2-1 in season openers.
