Joe was not our original drummer, although he is probably the best known to date. Joe's first show with us was our second show on September 19, 1997 at the Highlander in Grand Rapids MI. His last show with us was on August 14, 1998 at the Tasteful Sounds festival in Stoney Creek MI. He replaced our second drummer Chris Thrasher who abruptly became MIA, and was replaced by Gus Cartman. Who ironically enough he replaced as our temporary drummer just in time for our April 2, 1999 show at the Big Horse in Chicago IL. His last show with us this time was on May 21, 1999 at the B.E. HENRY building in Marshall MI. Even though Joe has never used a last name in

he has became known as Joe Shades, he was somewhat forced to quit the band
this time due to the birth of his baby. I wish him the best of luck
with everything he does, and his time with us will never be forgotten!
