Goal In Life: to find out how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a Tootsie Roll Tootsie Pop.
The Main reason I think Alanis Morisette Just doesn't get it:
"It's like ten thousand spoons, when all you need is a knife"
Why not just turn the fuckin spoon around and use the handle to spread the damn peanut butter?

Marc was born in 1974, and lived most of his life in Augusta MI. (a small
town between Battle Creek
and
Kalamazoo) where there were few other kids around. He was introduced to
the guitar at the age of 5 (his parents bought him a Mickey Mouse children's
guitar), and that would eventually take a major role in his life to come.
He went to school at Galesburg-Augusta where he wasn't liked all that well,
the "in" crowd consisted of farmers, "wiggers", and jocks, all of which
he wasn't (even though he did wrestle). He graduated in 1993, and hasn't
missed it a bit.
Marc had figured his career
would be in landscaping, since that was all he'd done since the age of
twelve. However, things eventually
turned around for him when the band he was in at the time began to take
off.
began to hit,
they were on numerous radio stations, newspapers all over, they were beginning
to play a lot of shows, and finding themselves signed to Michigan based
Red Planet Records, where could they go next? It was inevitable - a tour.
In 1996,
prepared for it's first national tour. Things were
going great.
Marc left on a P.R. mission
later that year that would include Nevada, California, Oregon, and Washington,
still holding many great expectations for his band. He met with numerous
A&R people from many management, upper "indie" and major label record
companies, the future looked very promising.
When Marc returned from the West coast in September of 1996, he was planning
on everything being fantastic, but after his first show back,
disbanded at Club Soda in Kalamazoo Mi. It was an eye-opening home coming
of sorts. With no band left to play with, he began auditioning for some
of the greatest bands around that had open slots for
guitarists, vocalists, bassists, and drummers. He didn't really care
what he did, he missed the action and excitement of playing music. While
holding auditions of his own, he eventually found the "right" people and
was born.
On February 7, 2000, Marc proposed to Janice ( his girl friend of a couple of years, and she accepted). Luckily, he eventually wised up and didn't do it. He currently resides in Augusta after spending many years in
Kalamazoo. Marc still holds the fascination of being on stage. "If it weren't
for all of you, I wouldn't be who I am today". His guitar collection has
grown to about 20 (if none of them are broken by now).
His future aspirations are
definitely in entertainment. He loves his time in ,
and used to be very hopeful of becoming a
professional
wrestler someday (it seems that he could never get up to the minimum weight limit, or "get that damn knee fixed"), which was finally done thanks to Dr. Uggen in August of 2000. He
also enjoys listening to music, "everything that I've ever heard has played
a very important part in my style, whether I like it or not".
Admittedly,
's fans are very important to him. He still writes the newsletter himself,
and spends whatever time he can getting to know "the diehards". He has
appeared on Battle Creek's "Access Vision" on a program called "What's
Your
Opinion?"
in order to get some unbiased feedback about the band, and also to expose
them to others who may not have
seen find
something that you want to do, just go out and do it. Don't give me that
"I can't" crap! I did it, so I know it can be done. The only difference
between you and I is our background, and that's not really even a factor.
You can be as great as you want to be, or suck as bad as you want to suck.
It is your decision!"
