Amazing fragrance!! July 5, 2006
This is one of the best scents I own (one of the
only scents besides Falling in Love)! Amazing Grace and Falling in
Love combined cannot be beat!!! I find that men especially love
the smell and always notice and comment on how good I smell! I
don't understand how anyone could find this smell offensive or
cheap unless you are used to the strong smell of other perfumes
then this may seem a little on the light side of scents. But by no
stretch of the imagination does it smell cheap or like dead
flowers, to me it smells feminine and clean. As the CEO of the CO
says "you want people to notice your scent @ 10 inches not smell
you from 10 feet away!" To me and my senses it is AMAZING!

Okay I'll give this two stars because it doesn't
completely stink. And in all fairness, not everything smells the
same on everyone. But let me tell you when they advertise this as
a light sheer sent that is for people who are sensitive to
fragrance, they are wrong. I am very sensitive to fragrance and I
bought this based on reviews and the CEO of the company's
description of who should wear this perfume. It is not light,
however it is not strong either. To me, it smells like cheap
perfume that my grandmother would wear. I'm sorry but it does.
Have you ever smelled flowers after they lost their scent, like
when they have been sitting in the vase too long? That is exactly
what this reminds me of. Spoiled flowers if that makes any sense.
If you are truely fragrance sensitive and were thinking about
trying this, give Pure Grace a try. That actually does have that
just stepped out of the shower scent. That one I would highly
recommend.

I bought this perfume for my mother-in-law this
past Christmas. She loved it. She started wearing it to work and
was so excited to report to me that people kept asking her what
she was wearing. Most of the people she works with are men. They
were stopping by her cube just to smell her. Most of them ended up
asking her what the perfume was and where they could get a bottle
for their wives. One of the guys told her that she smelled like a
woman ought to smell-feminine.
I highly recommend it. I went out and bought her the lotion,
scrub, another bottle, and the bath gel for her birthday.

I love this perfume. It smells so good! It is light
and airy and sweet. My only problem is that I wish it stayed on
longer. After about an hour I can't really smell it anymore, even
if I put my nose directly to my wrist. But I love the scent so
much that I don't mind reapplying throughout the day.

After reading all the good reviews, I decided to
purchase the Amazing Grace to go .5oz fragrance spray. At first
when I took a sniff of the bottle I couldn't smell anything. When
I sprayed it on my wrist at first all I could smell was alcohal,
but then it dried to a fresh floral smell. It's a very light
delicate scent that reminds me of walking past a garden of roses
after a rain storm. I didn't really know what people meant when
they said it had a "clean" smell in their reviews, but it does
have a hint of the smell of clean fresh linen. I'm not a huge fan
of floral scents and I do think this scent isn't really geared
towards the less than 30 demographic, but I could see myself
wearing this scent to work because it's very inoffensive. Also I
find it has incredible staying power when I spray it on my dogs
fur and it masks the smell of well...dog. After trying Amazing
Grace I would like to try the rest of the Grace line. Mothers day
is coming up and I really think my mom would love this one. It
reminds me of Crabtree and Evelyn's Summer Hill collection, so if
you like Amazing Grace you might want to have a sniff of that one.
In case you are wondering why I only gave it four stars, I
subtracted one for the high price.
