"I know," Brian said, sadly. He was still in denial of what had happened that morning, yet in the back of his mind, he knew it was true. He would leave Leighanne tonight, for however long it took to fulfill his 'duty'. Maybe it would be forever… he tried to shove the thought out of his mind and focus on his wife who lay naked beneath him, covered by only a thin sheet. He could see her form through the fabric, and felt a longing to stay frozen in that moment forever.
"You know I love you, Baby," Brian said, lowering his head to meet his wife's lips. He kissed her softly. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I could stay here in this moment for the rest of my life and be the happiest man on Earth," he said, voicing his thoughts.
"I love you too," Leighanne whispered, and continued to kiss her new husband. As the kiss deepened, she wrapped her arms around him and pressed his body close to hers, separated only by the sheet between them.
Brian's tongue slid over her rows of perfect teeth, and he took her hands in his. He pulled away from her and laid his head on her shoulder, taking in a breath of her hair. He sighed, smelling the familiar earthy scent of the herbal shampoo she used. He wrapped his legs around hers, and felt her body arching up to pull him closer. As he stood up and threw the sheet covering his wife aside, he was breathless at the beautiful sight that beheld him. He marveled at her perfect body, and could control himself no more. The yearning look in her eyes gave him invitation enough. He gently laid himself on top of her, and felt her hot skin burn into his. Her eyes were on fire with the desire she felt for him. Brian could feel his skin tingling all over, and his cheeks began to flush.
"Let me make love to you, Baby. Like it's the last time. Let's make it special." She made no argument, so he proceeded to love his wife for the last time before he had to leave.
