Chapter 15
		I took a deep breath and waited for my cue. JJ looked at me as her turn came to leave. I could tell she was happy for me. I was startled as my music came. I wanted to get married to something meaningful, so I chose "I'll Never Break Your Heart," a song that had always had a sentimental value to me. As I started to walk down the isle, I saw Nick stare at me wide-eyed. He just looked at me like he was so happy. I walked down to the middle of the isle when my dad took my arm and led me to Nick. Nick took my hand and said "Bethany, you took my breath away when I saw you, I missed seeing you so much." I smiled and said, "Me too." We walked together and under the arch, which was a lot shadier than I had remembered. I could hear my mom crying in the background. She was always the first one to cry at anything like that. I stood there as the preacher talked. I'd wanted my granddad to marry me to my husband, so I flew him here from a conference. "Ok, now Bethany and Nick have prepared their own vows, Nick would you go first?" "Bethany, your my world. You mean everything to me. We've been through so much together, and almost lost each other. I never dreamed I'd ever meet anyone that I wanted to be with so badly. You make me happy when I'm sad, you make me love you so much, and love to be who I am. I never told you this, but I always thought that you were the perfect person for me and that I'd die not to be with you. I love you more than life itself and want to love you till I die. But even then, I'll still love you." Ok, this is where I started to cry. "Bethany, you turn." "Nick, you've helped me so much. You were always there for me, especially when I needed you the most. You never gave up on me or anyone else. It was hard on you to be so famous and in love. I admire you for not losing hope. I love you so much, and can't imagine being with anyone else." "OK, now Nick, do you take Bethany to be your wife, to have and to hold as long as you both shall live?" "I do." "Bethany, do you take Nick to be your husband, to have and to hold as long as you both shall live?" "I do." "Now, the rings." Aaron came up and handed me Nick's ring. I slipped it on his finger. Then he put mine on. It wasn't a normal gold band, I wanted something more exciting, so I got a small silver ring with a small sapphire, and Nick's was the same but with a garnet. "Ok, now may I introduce Mr. and Mrs. Nickolas Gene Carter. You may kiss the bride." Nick kissed me and I was so happy to have him in my arms again. The crowd cheered and we walked down the isle as husband and wife.
