Sarg 49 - Raam's Vilaap for Lakshman

Raam woke up and saw Lakshman lying unconscious. He got sad and started weeping seeing Him like this. He said - "What I will do of Seetaa seeing my brother sleeping here. One can get Seetaa-like wife, but it is difficult to get a brother like Lakshman. If Sumitraa-Nandan Lakshman had died, then I will kill myself too. What I will say to Maa Kaushalyaa and Sumitraa who are waiting for their sons. If I went back to Ayodhyaa without Lakshman, then how I will console Sumitraa etc mothers? What I will say to Bharat and Shatrughn "that Lakshman who went to forest with me, I have returned to Ayodhyaa without Him?" I consider it better to commit suicide before doing that.
