Sharron visits the library and takes a copy of Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace from the shelf and proceeds to read the whole book in just a matter of minutes. She returns it to the librarian:
Sharron: "Thank you, I enjoyed it."
Librarian: "But, you can't have read it?!"
Sharron: "Couldn't I?"
"Sharron Macready, one of the Champions. A book to read, to be read in such a way that it becomes another reminder of an event that changed her life, and the lives of her two colleagues, Craig Stirling and Richard Barrett. Craig, Sharron and Richard, survivors of an air crash in the waste land of Tibet. Survivors through the intervention of the lost people of an unknown civilisation, a people that gave them the sense and qualities of super humans. Senses and qualities that make them the Champions. The Champions of law, order and justice. Able to use their gifts to their best advantage. Operators of the international agency of Nemesis."

An atomic submarine loaded with four nuclear weapons is hyjacked by a new Nazi group, which demands five million dollars or they will destory London. Craig is already prisoner aboard the submarine when Richard and Sharron pretend to be with a famous phsicist, posing as his aids. They however are exposed and taken hostage while preparations for the launch on London is taking place.

An uneven episode. Although the second half of the episode is quite entertaining and suspensful, it is slow in the opening few scenes. The plot is good, if a fraction too unbelievable (as Richard remarks in the beginning). It strikes similarity to Ian Fleming's novel Moonraker but with a nice twist at the end. The Nazi captain in the end says "I look forward to my trial, one thing is for certain, it won't be in London". The fanaticism and devotion is shown in this line which I thought was very appropiate for the situation.
Another episode where we see the agents continue to question there own special abilities. Craig questions his own assumptions and instincts wondering whether he is wrong. Sharron comforts him by joking, "maybe super humans make super-mistakes?". Just before that scene we see a nice scene when Craig is about to knock on the hotel door where Sharron is inside, but just before he can knock, Sharron yells out "come in Craig!". Sharron is one who likes to use her powers for less serious purposes.
Much more exciting as it went along, with a nice ending.
