The Championship game for the women had Vickie Herrington of Paragon facing Orvella Heaton of Bloomfield. Vickie was the leader at the end of the third frame by three. The next three frames the pitchers were tied. The seventh frame Vickie again took the lead by one. The ninth frame had Orvella getting the lead for the first time by two. Orvella built her lead to seven only for Vickie to regain the lead again in the fifteenth frame. Orvella captured the lead again at seventeen. The twenty-second frame Orvella was ahead by one. The next frame Vickie was ahead by one. Two more frames or four shoes to pitch to decide whom the champion will be. Orvella next two shoes were ringers, Vickie got one, Orvella lead by three. Orvella had first pitch in the last frame only scoring one point. Vickie needed two ringers for the win. Her first shoe was wide for a point. Vickie needed a ringer on her last shoe to force an overtime game. Her shoe landed out of scoring range, giving the Championship to Orvella.

The Championship game for the men had Ed Burgett of Edinburg tossing the first pitch scoring two points Dan Mayes of Indianapolis got 4 for the early lead. Dan increased his lead to eight by the end of four. Ed hung tuff taking the lead by one in the ninth. The score was tied in the eleventh at 56. Dan took the lead by four in the next frame, only to lose it back to Ed in the 13th frame. Ed increased his lead to five points in the seventieth frame. Dan was again on top by a single point with 6 frames to go. The next frame Ed did not score while Dan picked up four. Dan held on to become the Grand Champion by a score of 125 - 120.
