The Championship game for the women had Mary Oliver of Noblesville facing Margaret Delph of Tipton. The score was tied at the end of one. Margaret lead by 2 at the end of the second frame. Mary took the lead in the third. They were again tied at 18 in the fourth frame. The game stayed within 4 points until the 15th frame when Margaret incresed her lead to 7. Mary brought the game back to within 3 at the 17 frame. Margaret increased her lead to 10 in the twentyth. Mary not being one to give made a last minute come back by pitching doubles in the last frame. However Margaret score 6 points in the last frame to become Grand Champion 118 - 116.

The Championship game for the men had Gerry Schultz of Terre Haute jumping to a 5 point lead over Bill Clark of Fairland by the end of two frames. Gerry and Bill were tied at the end of five at 22 points. Bill took the lead on the next frame by 3 points. Bill increased his lead to 13 in the 13th frame. Gerry started making a come back in the 17th frame. Gerry was down by six at the end of 19. The 20th & 21st frames were distrasterous for Gerry getting only 3 points. Gerry again made a come back, but Bill hung tough winning the championship 118 - 115.
