Pocopson Station (now a private veterinary hospital). Built 1890. The ticket booth and waiting room are now the examining room of a veterinary hospital. The original trim and woodwork survive. Built of local green serpentine stone, which unfortunately degrades with exposure to automobile exhaust.

Brandywine Creek, and ruins of Brinton Bridge (foreground), and former mill c. 1716 (background) on the property owned by Andrew Wyeth. Visible from trail, especially in winter. Northwest of Chadds Ford, PA. See the "Interesting places" page for more information on this.

William Harvey House, built c. 1715/1916 with additions made in 1975 not far off the trail: southbound, after Pocopson the trail follows roads but then leaves road and then goes into woods; instead of going into woods, continue on road, Brinton's Bridge Road, in Pennsbury Township. This house was standing during the Battle of the Brandwine during the American Revolution; it is on the National Register of Historic Places and was documented by the Historic American Building Survey.
