     COVER SHOT: This is a scene from a TV soap opera. The shot 
     and action are the same as above, but now the set and 
     characters are glitzy. Trudy continues her diatribe against 
     Blind B.D.  A MAN dressed only in designer briefs CROSSES 
     stealthily and EXITS.

                           BLIND BROTHER DEX (CONT'D)
                    (V.O., singing)
               An’ now my life has much more drama 
               than some soap op’ra on the TV.

                                                     DISSOLVE TO:

     CU: It’s a TV commercial. One hand spritzes some LIGHT BREAKS 
     glass cleaner on a filthy window. The other hand wipes with 
     a paper towel. Golden sunlight streams in. ZOOM OUT to reveal 
     Blind B.D. hawking the product, MS. Upper screen-left, SUPER 
     CG: NEW! Upper screen-right, SUPER CG: IMPROVED! Lower-third, 
     SUPER PRODUCT LOGO: LIGHT BREAKS. And after a half-beat, 
     below logo, SUPER ITALICIZED CG: “Where no sun shines!” Blind 
     B.D. lip-syncs.

                           BLIND BROTHER DEX (CONT'D)
                    (V.O., speaking)
               ‘Cause there ain’t no commercials t’ 
               break the tension, friends.

                                                     DISSOLVE TO:

4    INT. — BLIND B.D.’S BEDROOM, A DUMP — NIGHT                     4

     TWO-SHOT MONTAGE: Trudy and Blind B.D. are in bed. He’s lying 
     on his side (but still wearing his dark glasses, of’ course), 
     facing Trudy. She’s lying on her back. He reaches over and 
     touches her. She rolls away. DISSOLVE TO ANOTHER SHOT—-SAME 
     ANGLE, SAME ACTION, ANOTHER TIME: Trudy’s wearing another 
     nightgown. Blind B.D. touches her. She rolls away. DISSOLVE 
     TO ANOTHER SHOT—-SAME ANGLE, SAME ACTION, ANOTHER TIME: Again, 
     Trudy’s wearing a different gown. He touches. She rolls away.

                           BLIND BROTHER DEX
                    (V.O., singing)
               Well, she tells me that she loves 
               me, but she sure don’t show it in 
               bed.

                                                     DISSOLVE TO:

     TWO-SHOT, SAME ANGLE AS ABOVE: Trudy is wearing a different 
     gown. She rolls away as Blind B.D. reaches. He touches her 
     arm and... What’s this!?
