While my friends went all gagga and googoo over the flesh of the Chippendale dancers, I was loving Bryan's singing. I'm not sure if he's still there. But he was singing on stage when we were there on May 26, 2006. He was so great!!
Bryan called me this afternoon and here is the good stuff from the call:
* When I answered the phone I had the 'feeling' (don't ask how I can 'feel' it, it's just something...does that make sense?) it was Bryan calling and I honestly didn't know when he was going to call me....
* He's like, 'Hello, is this Candy' and I was sooo freaking out, (like I was 12 years old all over again....lol!) and I'm like yes, Hi Bryan how are you (I automatically recognized his voice, he sounded just as he did on MTB and all the Radio Disney interviews) then Bryan STARTS SINGING 'CANDY' (THE SONG) TO ME AND I WAS DYING!!! HE SANG TO ME FOR LIKE 2 MINUTES!!!! YES HE DID!!! ***he sounds just like he does on tv I have to say that again***
* He said he LOVED the promo team and thought it was so awesome of what (the fans) were doing for him, he loved the crazy members, loved the colors and all of the hard work we're all doing for him (how awesome of him to say that) and he also said that he VISITS the official promo team even if he doesn't post (he said he's so new to the net and groups that he's not sure what to say at times I told him to just go for it and have fun)
* He said the he WANTS the PROMO TEAM to host a chat with him in the next 2 weeks.....how cool (***update, it's the month of July***)!
* He said I'm doing a great job with all the members (on keeping you all promoting and getting the word out) and that Brian (his manager)loves the positive feedback and postings here for all of us
* Bryan said he was taking a break from the studio to call me and to see how I was doing and to thank me again and he was blown away from all of the personal promoting I've been doing for him
* Bryan said we have an awesome promo team and loved the fact that I had found such great people to represent him (I told him I had the best promo team members on the planet, and I sure do!!!)
* He also asked me what other official groups/street teams I had going and told him and he was impressed with that (and knew the people too and asked me for the links)
* He talked about his tour, his studio work and how great this is all for him (to be able to make music and share it with all of us)
* He asked me what my fave song was on the CD and I told him and he sang it to me HE SANG TO ME AGAIN YES AGAIN!!!
* Then someone called him and he said he had to get back in the studio, and thanked me yet again for all of my hard work and said he'd call back soon and to take care!!
That's the highlights and I hope you all have enjoyed it!!! I can't stop smiling and I am soooo glad to share this with all of you!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!He is the nicest guy ever!!!! I wanna meet him again so bad! He is so great! Ok, so I picked up the phone after an hour of waiting (i said 8pm would be good, but he called a litle before 9...lol..thats cool!) and so he was like "Oh I just heard that you promoted my site on 15 different ST and I really wanted to thank you. Meanwhile, I'm freaking out on the other end and saying "Oh no problem, I'm really excited your solo and everything is gonna start happening for ya soon." I told him I love "In my head" one of the 4 songs on his site (www.bryanchanonline.com) and he said that's he's fave too! LOL! And then he was like have you ever meet me or seen me live and I was like YEAH in Orlando at Red hott and boom with LMNT and I met ya and took a pic with ya! And he was like oh you gotta send that pic to our site soon because we are gonna have a gallery or something. And them he was like I need to talk to Chad Pitt and I was like OMG I got a yahoo group for him and he was like you gotta tell him I wanna perform on July 4th, but I kinda have a show that say...and then I corrected him and said it was July 3rd so he could probably do it! and them this part was the nicest he said that he would send me a signed LMNT poster! AWWW!! Bryan is so cool! thanks to the girls that made this happen!
Hello everyone - it's starting to slow down for the holidays and we thought that we would take a minute and thank you for keeping LMNT on the up and up as we close out the year.
We can't begin to tell you how much we appreciate all the love and support you've given us this past year. As a group we've hit so many milestones it's hard to believe it all fits into twelve months. At this time last year, we were wrapping up our 12 city Rock and Shop tour and getting ready to spend Thanksgiving in the Macy's Parade. Since then we've seen our single 'Juliet' rise to #1 on the Radio Disney countdown charts for eight weeks (to date it is the MOST requested and MOST played song on Radio Disney this year...you guys ROCK), our album 'All Sides' was released in June to amazing reviews, we spent the first part of the summer on tour with Britney Spears and the second half of the summer on the Pop Till You Drop tour with A*Teens and Baha Men...and through it all you guys were there to support us in every city, voting for 'Juliet' on radiodisney.com, and heading out to your record stores to buy copies of 'All Sides'....what more can we say? LMNT fans are die hard. You guys work every angle. You beat the radio station phone request lines and web sites, and you know the songs, you know the moves, and you even know as much about us as we know about each other. What more can we say? We couldn't do it without you....
Right now we're back in the studio, making new music for our second CD and getting ready for a new sound, a new look and some growth...not too much - you're still going to recognize us...but we're also ready to announce that LMNT's lineup has changed a bit. Ikaika has decided that the music business on the mainland isn't where he can be, and he's decided to go back home to Hawaii to support his family. Plain and simple - no drama. He's finally found himself and it was being back on an island in a place he was comfortable. We wish you all the best Ikaika. It's certainly been a transition for the group, but for everyone that's come out to see us in the past month...we've done some adjustments to the show and we think it feels pretty good! If your reactions are any indication...we think we're going to be alright!
So from all of us - to all of you. We're wishing you a safe and happy holiday and look forward to seeing you back out on the road starting in January. Keep posted to our website...it's going through some great changes that we think you'll like and it will be updated regularly so that you can hear some of our new material and see when we'll be in your city to come and visit you in person!
Well I had given Bryan my cell phone number so he could get hold of me after the concert to sign the glasses; but I didn't tell him that where I live my cell doesn't work; AND for some reason when they called me for my serenade they called my cell instead of my home number so I missed them! Anyway the day of the concert (and they were great) my hopes started to dim that I would actually get to meet with Bryan. (and Ikaika too--Bryan said he would try to bring him along) After their performance they announced they would do a short signing. Well I ended up in the middle of a very long line. About 15 minutes had passed and security guards ended the line about 20 people ahead of me.
Just then my best friend motioned me over to her. She had somehow found one of the girls associated with the guys (she had a clipboard and was sorting of keeping guard) and got her to tell Bryan about me being there. Bryan tells her to tell my friend to have me wait around until they're done with the signing. Which of course I do.
A few minutes later Bryan comes up to me and tells me "Irene, you're coming with me". I couldn't believe it. He takes me backstage (where the VIP's had gone earlier). He introduces me to all the guys, I get to chat with Ikaika for a bit. Ikaika and Bryan autograph my LMNT shirt. Bryan signs my glasses, Bryan gets all the guys to autograph a towel and gives that to me. But best of all, I finally get my serenade and it's in person. It was one of the best nights of my life! I get the courage to ask Ikaika for another hug before he leaves and he gives it to me...Bryan being the gentleman he is, insists on walking me out. I also had a couple of pictures taken with them and I just hope they come out. They're being developed now. I just wanted to share....the guys are just so great!
Fastforward- My sister and her friend were planning to met Play. They left while they were still in line. I wanted to see Baha Men perform. The LMNT signed autographs. My sis and her friend were in line for them. I had my claim to fame. They were playing with the camera, acting like they were going to take pictures. Bryan saw and posed. My sister said No. Then Mike saw and started making faces. My sister wasn't going to take a picture but did. Then Ikaika saw and started winking to the camera. So she met them AGAIN! So That was cool. I am now A HUGE LMNT FAN!!
Man they will denfinately remeber me. How cool is that.
LMNT 4-EVER!
