Hylee Weyrling "Raitarth!" The green's head popped up from behind Hylee's cot that the weyrling greenrider had to laugh. "Silly! We're going between today, Weyrlingmaster said so! Aren't you excited?! Then we can go whereever we want!" Uh, right. Sure. Excited. Uhhuh. The green's head disappeared behind the cot again, while Hylee stood there, perplexed. "... Raitarth?" She finally asked, advancing over to her lifemate. She came to the opposite side of her cot, practically falling over it, her head propped up with her hands as she peered at the green. "Hello? I thought you'd be excited about it. We can go to the beach, and stuff like that." Uhhuh. Yeah, sure. Raitarth responded automatically, content just lying on the floor next to the cot. Hylee frowned, and then rolled her eyes. "Sheesh, someone might think you've gotten proddy before you're even adult, silly green. C'mon, we have to go with the others, we're already late since you decided not to show up. You said you were going there, remember?" No. The greenrider's frown deepened. "But it was only a little while ago! I said I have to get something from the kitchens, and you said ok, come back here soon, and I'll still be here. You don't remember?" No. The light green repeated slowly, as if her rider was a bit thick. I came back here because I'm tired. I never heard anything about staying where I was. Hylee shrugged, fed up. "Well, it doesn't matter anyway. You just have to coe now, ok? The others in our class aren't going to be pleased we kept them from going between. And I thought you were looking forward to it anyway?" Hylee was used to her lifemate's fluctuating moods though. I don't want to. "Why not?" I just don't want to. Ok? I'm going to lie here and sleep. Let me be. Go between on your own. "You know I can't do that, you stubborn-" Well I'll send you there. Leave me alone! "I'll have to drag you all the way to the Weyrlingmaster!" Hylee threatened, annoyed. Dare you. Muttering under her breath, Hylee picked up her lifemate's hind legs and heaved. Raitarth moved slightly, and then started to slid over the smooth floor. HEY! |
