Stanton Friedman met with Twining's pilot from instruction with Twining's wife, to find out information about Twining meeting with President Truman on 25th September 1947as reported in Humelsine dictation to President Truman on this date.

There was no record of meeting with Truman on Twining's pilot flight log, but his pilot said Twining sometimes made secret flights himself, with Truman actually flying the plane. Twining's personal flight log does actually state that he flew to a meeting with Truman on that date and also flew to Wright Field on same day.

Why did Hummelsine send a memo to Truman dictated from Marshall? Hummelsine was executive secretary to Marshall. Hummelsine's office was in Washington, and on this date Marshall was miles away at the UN (building in progress) building in New York, so Marshall would have had to dictate his memo over the telephone to Hummelsine. Until this document came out, hardly anyone in ufology had even heard of Hummelsine.

Stanton Friedman talked with the archivist at the Marshall Archives. The archivist said that Marshall was Chief Of Staff during WWII and was very concerned about troop morale during WWII, so he sent Cardinal Spellman who was a military vicar. During WWII, Spellman travelled 10s of 1000s of miles to see troops all over the place. Stan said that he knew someone who's Grandfather was a minister, who's job was to counsel people who'd had dealings with the alien bodies and who couldn't handle it.

The War Dept MJ-12 document mentions that FBI interest was curtailed and access to stored craft at Los Alamos was denied. This information is possibly authenticated by official Jul 15th 1947 memo to Mr. Ladd with a handwritten note from J. Edgar Hoover, Director of the FBI stating, "...before agreeing (to the investigation of crashed saucers)...we must insist upon full access to discs recovered. For instance in the La case the Army grabbed it and would not let us have it for cursory examination.

Charles Ethan Rea did an autopsy of the alien bodies as stated in one of the documents. He was an outstanding physician who taught at the University of Minnesota for many years. Through digging at historical archives, it has been discovered that he was head of the hospitals Oakridge National Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory and Hanford Works, which are the three nuclear weapons research labs during WWII.

Tim Cooper spoke on the telephone with Alamagordo base commander of that time in 1947 called Colonel Hellmeck (spelling?), who admitted that a nuclear powered craft was taken there in early 1947. He would not say any more on the subject. In reality, there were no nuclear propulsion units until the end of the 1950s, and even then, nothing that would propel a plane because of the weight the nuclear engine would have to be. 19th Sept 1947 Memo by CIA Director mentions craft crashed there 30 miles east of Alamagordo 5th July 1947

I asked Dr Robert Wood that the parts of the new docs that you can see are controversial enough, so I wondered why there was the need to black out anything at all. He said "WE HAVE SPECULATED ON THIS MUCH. SEEMS LIKE THINGS TO DO WITH ALIENS OR THEIR ORIGINS ARE CANDIDATES FOR BLACKOUTS. ALSO, MAYBE OUR MORE COVERT OPERATIONS. WE ARE STILL GUESSING CAREFULLY."

Researchers went back to Timothy Cooper, to look at his first generation copies. Some of the documents when held to the light, show words beneath the blacked out parts of the documents. Cooper said that Cantwheel had censored the documents himself.
