Below is the cast listing and within them, the story of how the new MJ-12 documents came to be:-

Thomas Cantwheel - Put alleged top secret MJ-12 documents into Tim Cooper's post office box. Alleged military intelligence. Cantwheel is 6'3" aged in 90s, very frail with white hair. Said by Cooper to be walking encyclopaedia of crash retrieval. Cantwheel said he had a lot of history in intelligence and new lots of languages. Told Cooper that he had worked in disinformation. Letter written to Cooper from Cantwheel words to the effect "I've been learning about your research through my contacts at Fort Meade. They told me to give them to you." Nothing seen of Cantwheel since meeting with Cooper in July 1995. Presumed dead.

Timothy Cooper - California UFO researcher. Got interested in UFO research after talking to number of retired military personnel who lived in area, that were involved in highly classified matters in the 40s. Cooper's father ran printing department at Alamagordo Army Air Field & had once been asked to print a long highly classified document dealing with at least one crashed flying saucer and alien bodies. Started filing FOIA requests to various airbases in 1988, esp. White Sands Missile Base. Early 1992 loose docs unenveloped inserted into his PO Box at his local post office with normal mail. Post office said no-one was given key to his PO Box. Suspected PO Box lock picked. Said his phone appeared to be tapped. Docs appeared in intervals of 4 months. Tried stakeout of post office, but gave up. Several letters appeared in PO Box from Cantwheel. Direct meeting with Cantwheel July 16th 1995 at 01.00am. He admitted that he was the originator. Cooper signed affidavit to above facts.

Stanton Friedman - Canadian nuclear physicist and UFO researcher of over 25 years. Heavily involved with authentication efforts of all previous MJ-12 docs from 84, 85 & 94. Has known Dr Robert Wood for 30 years & worked for him at McDonnell Douglas in 1960s. Received new docs in 1992. Many visits to US government archives over the years. Member of FUFOR.

Dr Robert Wood - Retired Senior Engineering Manager from McDonnell Douglas . 43 year career with Douglas Aircraft, then McDonnell Douglas (MD) including work on defensive missile design and radar technology. Was asked by MD in late 1960s to determine how to develop gravity controlled propulsion devices like those apparently used by UFOs. Worked with Stan Friedman in 1960s. Member of MUFON & FUFOR.

Ryan Wood - Son of Robert Wood. Product marketing at Intel, sales with Digital, engineering management with Toshiba. Helping with authentication efforts of new MJ-12 docs. Member of MUFON.

Joe Firmage - Aged 28. USWeb chairman until end of October 1998 when he had to resign because of his belief in UFOs, his project International Space Sciences Organisation and the public release of the new MJ-12 docs on his new web site Kairos. Started USWeb from scratch. USWeb now worth over $2 Billion. Only received documents from the Woods several months ago.

Whitley Streiber - Author and UFO Researcher. Helping with authentication efforts.

As mentioned in my chronological report, the new MJ-12 documents that Timothy Cooper received from alleged ex military intelligence employee Thomas Cantwheel, were given to various UFO researchers to commence their authentication efforts starting in late 1992.

Other Players In The Plot

Other than the major players; Dr Robert Wood, Ryan Wood and Stanton Friedman there were other players.

Each player in the plot was given specific documents from the new collection, that adhered to their specific UFO research role and all researchers contacted were asked to sign a non disclosure agreement until such time that the documents were made public.

Linda Moulton Howe - Author and UFO Researcher. Best known for her work on cattle mutilations in the 1980s. Recieved the new MJ-12 documents several months ago. Specifically given the IPU document, because of the mention of animal parts. Part of this document talks about bodies found at LZ-1 (Landing Zone 1) which is Corona, 75 miles from Roswell in July 1947 and animal parts found LZ-2 inside craft 20 miles from Soccoro:-
