View of Headwaters Hill from the southeast
After spending a lot of time at the top and taking all these
photos of what you can see from Headwaters Hill, I realized I
should probably get some more photos of Headwaters Hill
itself! That's what you can see on these next few pages.

First we hiked the Arkansas/Rio Grande divide over to unnamed
11,697'. (If you haven't downloaded the USGS reference map yet, you

here to view it in a new window.) This photo shows Headwaters
Hill from that summit. You can see the dense trees on the north face,
as well as the treeless slope that allows a good view of Antora and
other landmarks to the south and east.
