Egg Monks

The Egg Monks formed in Brantford around 1997. The members are Ania Dabrowski and Jeff Reniers. They played acoustic and sing as a duet. They have had other members playing drums and bass but none have been successful. The other people were Chris Betlemjemski of former Neophyte's Serendipity, Booger Band, Circle Theorem, Paxum and Curtis Mathis fame. John Edwards of Omar Sanchez and Grant Silverthorn of Hollowman Rusk.

Their rhythmically complex music defies any proper label. You have to just listen to it.

They changed their name briefly to the Gin Pigs. They went under the name of the Cougar Melons as of September 2nd 2002 until around late 2003. 2004 There wasn't much going on until early 2005 when the band Onya broke onto the scene in Hamilton. They are now known as Fat Kids Club.

Their old web page survives from their Egg Monks era. They had two different versions with only a very slight variation in the menu. A separate window will open to continue on with the main site close the window.
