Butch is Cassidy's Team Rocket partner. He has turquoise hair, a black uniform and a voice that can kill from a distance of 100 meters. Some will agree and some disagree on this point, but Butch was clearly made to be a 'clone' of James in many ways. I suppose the same could be said for Cassidy/Jessie, but to a lesser extent.

Jessie & Cassidy

Butch has rasped his way through two episodes with his partner so far. Even less is known about his past than Cassidy's. Some people believe that Butch and Cassidy are romantically involved and though I can see why (It's a bit of the old 'They-LOOK-like-a-couple' syndrome!) I don't believe that they are. I personally didn't pick up on any sexual tension between them at all.

Butch seems to be the underdog in the partnership, with Cassidy giving most of the instructions, again a mirror image of Jessie and James.... except possibly with less violence...
