I recently returned from Nice, France, where I attended the 2000 World Championships with my friend, Sharon. We have written day-by-day accounts of our trip, and I thought I'd post them here so everyone could see them. I will post photos as well (as soon as I've finished editing them all). Some are good, others are very fuzzy. I'm not a photographer, so I'm basically happy with anything that looks even remotely like who it's supposed to :) I hope you enjoy!

The Nice Chronicles

Day 1

The intrepid girlies arrive in Nice. Sharpie gets all anal about why shellybean doesn't unpack and shellybean repays her by saving her life!!

Day 2

The girls are riveted by the compulsory dances. Sharpie 'feels the lurve' with other 'evil' A&P Fans. While shellybean is overwhelmed by French fans, the hardness of French Bread and Alexei Yagudin.

Day 3

The girls catch up with the ways of the web, admire PMM's swingy, shiny hair and almost beat up everyone who is over 50 and French.

Day 4

Sharpie has a billion depressions at the Latin OD. shellybean has a billion depresions as Sharpie sings along with 'O Canada.

Day 5

Cringe as shellybean gets 'Gwendalised' and Sharpie almost forms a new UK ice dance partnership!

Day 6

Bartender: " Can I 'elp you?"
Sharpie: " Yes, I'll have a shedload of Kronenbourgs, a porny skater poem and a Drunken Skater please! "

Day 7

Last day for the FSU duet, "Time to say Goodbye?" Oh, let's have one more for the road ;).

Day 8

Weep as a Delirious, but not so crazy Sharpie leaves shelly 'seule' in Nice and flies home in the rain.
