April 1 - The 1999 season is now in progress.
April 19 - During the month of April we have had 3 games postponed. Our first game of the new season was postponed due to rain and was to be replayed on April 12th, but it also rained on that day. We won our first game 2-1 against Cherokee on April 6th. They are the #2 ranked team by the Philadelphia Inquire and were undefeated before that game. It was an exciting win for the team. However we followed this up with three straight losses. We finally got another win on April 19th. The week of (April 20 - 24) is the senior trip to Disney World. It will be fun to getaway, but I hope the layoff doesn't hurt the team.
April 26 - The Sr. trip is over and we begin the busy part of our schedule. Between now and May 26th we have 16 games scheduled, plus 3 to make up from April. There is also the Diamond Classic and Playoffs if we make them!
May 6 - Since the Sr. trip we have been playing much better. We are 4 - 2, with our most exciting win being over Gloucester Catholic. Tony Casoli pitched a great game. Unfortunately, we did not make the Diamond Classic this year, or even win the Minuteman Tournament. But, it looks like we will be at least .500 at the NJISAA playoff cutoff date and therefore make the playoffs. On a personal note; I have decided to attend Gloucester County College next year, unless I go in the first few rounds of the MLB draft (Ha, Ha).
