hey...this is where i get conceded and tell you abt myself, as well as give props to my friends and artists and the way they show their individuality...but first i would like to tell you what i know abt body modification...it's been around forever...literally. believe it or not...green haired teenagers in california were not the first people to wear a septum spike. all of the people of the past have done it in one way or another...and are still doing it.
Tattoo...Piercing...Branding...Scarification...Cutting...just a few of the words used to describe the traditions passed down for thousands and thousands of years to bring a sense of togetherness. With all of the divorced parents, latch-keyed, no support group kids out there...is it really that suprising to you that they would want to do something that makes them feel like "a part of the tribe"?
