What's new?

Fangoria has posted a preview of "Beyond Re-Animator" including first pictures.

Jeff's new movie FearDot.Com will open at the end of August in US cinemas

Jeff will come back as Andorian "Shran" in the Enterprise episode "Shadows of P'Jem", airing 6th of february 2002.

I had the pleasure to ask Jeff a few question on his new role as an Andorian in Enterprise when we met at the Galileo 7 Con in Goslar/Germany. The interview can be found here.

Just a quick note: Jeff was NOT on board of the airplane that chrashed into the WTC (the name Jeffrey Coombs was found on the passenger list of one of the airplanes). Jeff reassures his fans:

<
Thank you all so much for your heartfelt concern for my well-being. I am, thank God, safe and sound. Sadly, one of those who lost their life on that hideous day had a name very similar to mine. It was chilling and yet touching to receive so many contacts via e-mail, phone and personally in the immediate days after the disasters. Your love and concern is deeply appreciated by me and my family. All of this shocking brutality truly brings home how fragile, sweet and tentative this life is for us all. Pray for those left sorely behind.

God Bless America.>>

Jeffrey Combs will have a guest appearance in the upcoming Star Trek series 'Enterprise'. In the episode 5 he will play an Andorian, he told his official fanclub . I can't wait to see it!

Jeff just came back from Luxembourg where he was filming "Fear.com". He explained: "...Fear.com is sort of a dark thriller movie about people dying in mysterious ways and the police are investigating. It stars Steven Dorf. He plays a police detective, and I play his partner. He's a very good detective and I guess maybe at one point I was but I don't care anymore. I'm just burned out and ready to quit. I just kinda go along for the ride for a while in the movie until he pairs up with his love interest [...] Stephen Rhea is in the movie, too. There are these murders and it just turns out that people are dying from their worst fears, and so it's a journey to figure out why that's happened. It's like "The Cell" meets "What lies Beneath".

Jeffrey Combs, Marc Alaimo and Casey Biggs will attend this year's NCC2001 Con (8/24-8/27 in Manchester/UK. They will perform scenes from Shakespeare plays, just like at the Cruise 2000

Two of Jeff's recent movies were shown at the Cinenygma Festival in Luxembourg: "Faust - Love of the Damned" (3/24 and 3/29) as well as "The Attic Expeditions" (3/26 and 3/27). Jeffrey Combs has attended both screenings - read my report at the Cinenygma special)

Comic book author David Quinn has posted the following in his discussion forum:

"Faust Casting Continues

Jeff Combs, best known for his earnest, witty, engaging, and just plain weird character triumphs as the ReAnimator, will play Captain Dan Margolies.[...] Margolies is a cop who thinks the world is an action movie, and he's the hero, and he's as suave as the King, babe[...]. Jeff brings a deep well of talent and creativity to the role [...] If he is a Walter Mitty-ish Everyman who thinks he's an action hero, I think he'll drive us into the story just fine. I am looking forward to seeing what Jeff does. How strange to have the ReAnimator playing the closest thing we have to a sane, normal guy in the whole Love of the Damned."

"Beyond Re-Animator" poster

Although it is still speculative wether "Re-Animator 3" will ever be done, you can find here a poster.
