| "Come on Joe, this is easy. You can do this dance, just stop being such a baby," Kaylee said to her best friend Joey. She was trying to practice her chosen dance for a contest, the Tango, and she needed a partner. And Joey was the only person around to help her. "Kays, I don't wanna Tango, I hate doing that dance," Joey complained, standing up from his spot on the floor by a mirror. "Then you DO know how to do it," she said slyly. "Come on Joey, pleeeeeeaaaase?" she asked, giving Joey a flirty pout. "Oh jeez, don't give me that look Kaylee. You know I can't resist that look." "I know very well that you can't resist that look. And that is why I'm giving you that look. Come on Joe, just do this. For me. I need the practice," she said, stretching in front of a mirror by doing a backbend. Joey stared. "I didn't know o\you could do THAT," he said, practically drooling. "I can," she said, "and much more. I am a very flexable person Joey-Joe. But you wouldn't know that because you never, ahem, asked." "Okay, okay, let's just practice. Though I KNOW you don't need it." "Yes I do, if I wanna win this contest. You know I need the practice. Okay, let's do this," she said, hitting play on her CD player and getting into place in front of Joey. Joey knew what would happen if he danced with Kaylee. The same thing that always happened when he danced with her. He would become unbelieveably attraced to her, he would get himself all worked up for no reason, only to get no release at all, which is very painful. Not to mention that he had been attracted to her since he met her, years prior. But he never bothered doing anything with her, she wasn't that type of girl. She was the complete opposite. And that was what Joey liked in her, that was the reason he fell for her. He was totally in love with her, there was no turning back now, he had fallen, and he had fallen hard. No one knew, but that was just because he was a good actor. He flirted with girls, but none of the girls held the place in Joey's heart that Kaylee had. And now as he held her in his arms, it felt so right, just as it always had. Kaylee had had a crush on her best friend since she met him. But he was always flirting with all those girls, so she knew he wasn't and could never be interested in plain old ordinary her. When he held her, she never wanted him to let go. Joey couldn't take it anymore. He wanted to be with her, he just wanted her. And he was not going to wait any longer. He knew that there was no way she'd agree to the flirting tactics that Joey always used. So he decided to just be forward. He pulled her closer to him and looked into her eyes, which were giving him a confused look. He smiled a sincere smile at her, and she returned it. Which Joey took to be a good sign. He took it upon himself to basically start dirty dancing with her. He was stunned when she got the hint and threw her arms around his neck and put her chin on his shoulder and breath into his ear. She knew that this made him crazy, and that was why she did it in the first place. Joey had accidentally tripped her, and she went down. Pulling Joey with her. He fell on top of her, her arms were still around his neck. They were both still stunned to move, but when Joey finally got some sense knocked into him, he whisperes to her, "I'm sorry," and made an attempt to move off of her. She stopped him. "Joey, don't," she said, pulling him back down toward her. "Just stay with me, please, just stay." "You want me to?" "Joey, I... Yes I, I do." "You do?" "Don't sound so surprised, Joey-Joe. I've wanted you to since I met you." "So have I, I've loved you since the first second I layed eyes on you." "Joey..." "Shh," he said, putting a finger to her lips. "Don't talk." He leaned down and kissed her sweetly on the lips, then stood up and pulled her with him. "Joey, what are you doing?" Kaylee asked, confused. "The Tango," he said, taking her into his arms. |
