Not all animals are what we consider "beautiful" or "cuddly".  Take for example these critters:

These monitor lizards are over 6 feet long.

The tents I slept in seemed to be pretty much bug-free, but...

... the room I slept in my last night in Botswana had a spider convention!  This is a wall spider, at least 4 in. diameter.

Praying Mantis - Click to enlarge And then there are the "open-air" showers, like where I found this 5 in.-long praying mantis.

The secret to enjoying these creatures is to keep reminding yourself that they are all part of a greater plan.
