President Bush - leader of the free world and stupidest man in America.

Bush On The Americas

President Bush returned to Washington D.C. following his trip to Quebec City, Canada for the Summit of the Americas conference which involved 34 Western Hemisphere leaders. The topic of discussion was proposed free trade pacts that would affect some 800 million people living on the two continents.

The Summit was also the scene of numerous protests with repeated clashes between police and demonstrators. Watching black-suited police officers fire water cannons, rubber bullets and tear gas into crowds of people brought tears to the eye of Bush who said "this really reminds me of my inauguration. What a great day that was, although this is good too."

While clashes took place outside, leaders inside made plans to strengthen democracy, as well as fight international drug trafficking and poverty. The focal point of talks, however, was a hemispheric free-trade agreement that would involve all of the countries at the conference.

Critics say that such moves are, in fact, anti-democratic and merely boosts the power and leverage of corporate interests over the people who live in the Americas.

Asked to comment, President Bush demurred saying that "these talks aren't exactly what I thought they was. I thought I was going to be nominated for Supreme Dictator of the Americas but apparently this is all about work issues or some such nonsense."

The president was also heard to complain that "this is supposed to be a gathering of leaders of the Americas. So why doesn't anyone except the Canadians speak American? This is stupid. I'm going to go watch the hippies get beaten by the cops again."
