I'm Diane Hildebrandt, and I use the nickname, Detta or MsDetta (more about this on the Interests page). I have two children, one is a college sophomore and one is an eighth grader. I attend Indiana University Northwest (IUN) where I am a senior and will graduate in December, 2002. My mom's side of the family has resided in the United States prior to the Revolutionary War (see the Mathews Family History).

 I believe that submissions to search engines should be a free resource for everyone, and I gladly serve as a volunteer editor for several author categories of the ODP. Here is my editor profile. I was recently voted "Best New Arts Editor" and nominated for "Best New Editor" by my peers (see my awards below).

Donald E. Gavit Middle/High School PTSA:  I have served as the "Honors" chairperson for the last five years and have been part of the scholarship committee for the past two years. In the past, I also served as treasurer for a two-year term.

I belong to Wise-Women, a world-wide, online community of web designers, developers, and programmers. I am a regular contributor to the ongoing mailing list discussions.
